Workers wanted in 16 shortage occupations

The Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association is holding a round table in Sofia, at which employers and experts are discussing ways to address the labour shortage problem.

There are 16 professions in crucial for the national economy sectors such as machine building, metallurgy, metalworking, power generation and road transport, which are sought after by employers most, but are least attractive to workers. The participants are also discussing a project by the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association aimed at making shortage occupations more attractive.
