Optimistic 2018 autumn GDP growth projection

The autumn macroeconomic projection of the Ministry of Finance reports a 3.4 percent increase, in real terms, of the GDP over the first half of 2018; the projected annual growth rate in spring stood at 3.9 percent.

Now the Finance Ministry is forecasting a 3.6 percent real growth rate in 2018. For 2019, the GDP growth rate forecast is set higher, at 3.7 percent, because of more substantial public investments and public consumption.
