Justice Minister Tsetska Tsacheva joins meeting of Justice and Home Affairs Council in Luxembourg, update

Minister of Justice Tsetska Tsacheva is taking part in the meeting of Justice and Home Affairs Council in Luxembourg.

An important point of discussions is the proposal for a Directive regarding insolvency and preventive restructuring of enterprises, as well as improvement of mutual recognition in criminal matters.

The ministers of justice from European Union member states were informed by Tsacheva about the revealing of the brutal murder of 30-year-old journalist Viktoria Marinova which elicited a wide public and international response.

Key documents adopted at the meeting include the Directive on countering money laundering by criminal law.
