Aleksandra Nacheva won the title in the triple jump at the athletics tournament of the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires with 13.86 m. Second place goes to Maria Vicente, Spain with 13.67 m., and third to Maria Privalova, Russia with 13.03 m.

This is the fifth gold medal for Bulgaria at the Youth Olympics. The other titles were earned by Kiril Kirov, air pistol, Maria Delcheva, badminton, and the mixed couple Mariela Kostadinova - Panayot Dimitrov, acrobatics, who won the team, as well as the mixed couple gold.
