Francesco Roca: Bulgaria can be proud of its civil society

Bulgaria can be proud of its civil society and cooperation between the government and the Bulgarian Red Cross is a positive model not only for the region but also for Europe. This was what President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Francesco Roca said at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev in the framework of his working visit to Bulgaria.

Minister Donchev and Roca shared the view that volunteering was a key factor in overcoming humanitarian and natural crises and the positive attitude towards it was a sign of building an active civil society.
