Prime Minister Boyko Borissov met with Pinchas Goldschmidt, President of the Conference of European Rabbis.

The guest thanked the Bulgarian government for the support and security the country has been rendering the Bulgarian Jewish community, unlike other parts of Europe where we have been seeing a rise in acts of Anti-Semitism.

Prime Minister Borissov stressed that Bulgaria has always been a model of religious tolerance, and that, traditionally, there are no processes of Anti-Semitism in the country. He spoke of the prowess of the Bulgarian people in rescuing the Bulgarian Jews at the time of the Holocaust.
