Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov met in Helsinki with the Prime Minister of Finland Juha Sipilä. Premier Sipilä congratulated his Bulgarian counterpart Borissov on Bulgaria’s successful Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the excellent choice of the priorities during the Bulgarian EU Presidency, including the European perspective of the Western Balkans. Boyko Borissov underlined that Bulgaria and Finland protect successfully the EU external borders with the help of a strong political will, effective border police and agreements with third countries.
