Three Bulgarian weather stations which are part of the network of the National Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), are among the 70 meteorological stations across the world which have operated without interruption in the past 100 years. They were recognized as world cultural and scientific heritage by the World Meteorological Organization of the United Nations.
