Italian Police detains two Bulgarians and seizes 11 tons of hashish on yacht near Sicily

The Italian Police seized 11 tons of hashish on a 19 meter-long yacht sailing under a Dutch flag off the coast of Sicily. Two Bulgarian nationals were detained during the operation. The yacht was caught in international waters near the Italian province of Ragusa, Nova TV informed, referring to the Italian Journalist Agency (AGI) and the online edition of Republica newspaper. The signal was sent by the Spanish authorities. The narcotic substance was found during the search operation when the yacht was taken to the nearest port. According to speculations, the drugs were loaded in Morocco and had to be delivered in Libya.
