The Foreign Ministry cautions that the police are still searching for the gunman, and that a terrorist attack alert is in place throughout France.

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry advises Bulgarian citizens residing in Strasbourg or traveling between France and Germany to strictly follow all instructions issued by law enforcement bodies and to avoid public spaces in the city until the situation is back to normal.

Three people were killed and more than 10 wounded, some of them in critical condition, during the shooting at the Christmas market in Strasbourg.
