GERB remains first political power in Bulgaria

GERB remains first political power in Bulgaria with 22.2% electoral support, followed by the Bulgarian Socialist Party which is supported by 20.7% of the Bulgarian citizens, a sociological survey of Trend Research Center shows. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms remains third (6.5%), followed by the United Patriots coalition (4.4%). 52% of the surveyed Bulgarians said 2018 was a good year for them and 23% said the opposite. 43% of the people are expecting that 2019 will be good year for Bulgaria and 23% say it would be rather a bad year for the country. 47% of the surveyed nationals are optimistic about their personal prospects next year and 19% are pessimistic.
