Bulgaria’s athlete Petr Nestorov was voted Europe’s No1 tennis player in the U16 boys’ category, Tennis Europe officially announced. The Bulgarian athlete won a weekly training camp at the Mouratoglou tennis academy, which is one of the most advanced sports facilities nestled in the heart of the French Riviera, BTA informs. In 2018 Nestorov became a champion at the Tennis Europe’s Junior Masters in Reggio Calabria (Italy). He also won titles at the U16 tennis championships in Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzogovina and trophies at junior tennis competitions in Lida (Belarus) and Panchevo (Serbia). Nestorov is the third Bulgarian voted No1 in U16 rankings after Dimitar Kuzmanov in 2009 and Leonid Sheyngezikht in 2015.
