School closures over flu: called off in some regions, extended or put in place in others

In Sliven region in Southern Bulgaria the school closures over flu are being called off as of today.

At the same time there are other regions of the country - Pleven, Veliko Turnovo, Blagoevgrad, Kyustendil, Razgrad and Sofia city – where schools close as of today due to the flu epidemic. In the regions of Plovdiv and Russe, the closure of schools has been extended until 5 February; in the regions of Pazardzhik and Dobrich schools will be closed until 29 and 30 January.
