Goran Djokovic: Sofia Open will turn Bulgaria’s capital into European center of tennis

Sofia will become European center of tennis between February 3 and 10, the Sofia Open Tournament Director Goran Djokovic announced. Bulgarian people love tennis. I hope Sofia will host this tournament for many years to come, Goran Djokovic said. Four tennis players who currently rank in the ATP Top 20 will take part at Sofia Open- Karen Khachanov, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev and Roberto Bautista Agut. Stan Wawrinka who won three Grand Slam titles is also expected to participate at Sofia Open. We are planning to establish a tennis academy in Bulgaria and a fund in support of the young tennis talents from this region, Goran Djokovic pointed out.
