The Bulgarian government has approved a plan for the implementation of the agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
A backup plan of action has also been approved in the event of a no-deal Brexit. In any possible scenario this country will guarantee a maximum of continuity and consistency with regard to the rights of citizens and Bulgarian businesses. Minister Zaharieva reiterated that Bulgarians will be able to enter the UK visa-free for short stays of up to 90 days. Bulgarians living in the UK on 29 March, 2019 will be able to apply for settled status under a simplified procedure.
