The European Parliament voted in favor of an increase in the EU funds for Bulgaria. The MEPs approved new financial rules for the 2021-2027 period. Thus, Bulgaria is expected to receive nearly EUR 9 billion in the next programming period, or EUR 1.5 billion more as compared to the current period.
