Construction of Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway begins in 2019

Hemus motorway should reach Veliko Tarnovo (Central North Bulgaria) in 2023, Bulgaria’s Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Petya Avramova said. The construction of Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway estimated at over EUR 250 million will begin in 2019, Minister Avramova pointed out today in Veliko Tarnovo. The authorities are considering the idea to grant concessions for Ruse-Veliko Tarnovo highway and the future tunnel under the Shipka pass.
