Sofia has the highest per capita growth rate in Europe, said Deputy Mayor of Sofia Todor Chobanov and cited an international analysis, according to which over the next midterm period the capital of Bulgaria will be a preferred investment location.

“This whole economy is set in motion by young specialists. To attract and retain them is a major challenge. That is what makes me so happy to see here so many serious companies and so many leaders from various sectors,” said Todor Chobanov at the opening of the National Career Days 2019 forum.

According to statistics, Sofia accounts for 40 percent of the country’s GDP, and attracts half of all foreign investments in Bulgaria.
