Bulgarian students win first places at Space Settlement Contest organized by NASA and National Space Society

Two teams of Bulgarian students won first places at the prestigious Space Settlement Contest organized by NASA and the National Space Society (NSS). A total of 2,691 teams and 12,899 students from over 30 countries took part at this year’s Space Settlement Contest. Katerina Samatovna placed 1st with her GENESIS-369 project in the individual category. A team of 9 Bulgarian students were ranked first with their project The City of Space Accelerator in the Large Group category. The students from both teams study at the High-School of Mathematics in the coastal city of Varna.
