European Commission finances cyber security of Bulgartransgaz

Bulgaria’s gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz received approval by the European Commission for two projects for interoperable cross-border services to the tune of EUR 388 thousand. 75% of the amount is allotted in the form of gratuitous financial aid. New cyber security laboratory will monitor the protection of critical data in accident prevention information systems. A security management system will be launched and certified with the money allotted under the second project. The activities under the two projects are expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
