Some of the prices offered for the new F-16 Block 70s are not to our liking, that is why the negotiations continue, commented Minister of Defence Krasimir Karakachanov for the Bulgarian National Radio.

“If we cannot attain the result needed we have the right to propose to parliament to terminate the project or to continue the negotiations with some of the other participants. Bulgaria has the capacity though it has its bounds. We have to take into account the price, the package of services and the deadline for payment. We do not want to be given something for nothing, we want normal prices consistent with the prices for other countries, for example Slovakia,” Minister Karakachanov said.
