Acting Director General of public broadcaster Bulgarian National TV (BNT) Emil Koshlukov was elected BNT Director General by the regulatory authority – the Council for Electronic Media.
In his programme Koshlukov promises to reduce BNT’s debts by 4 million euro and to renegotiate the contracts for a number of shows as of this autumn.
The BNT’s annual subsidy from the state budget is 35 million euro, and its operational debt has already run up to 18 million euro.
