Tihomir Ivanov earns gold medal at 2019 Summer Universiade in Naples

Bulgaria’s athlete Tihomir Ivanov earned gold medal at the high jump event at the Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy. Ivanov jumped 2.30 meters at the final and beat his personal best for the season of 2.26 meters. Thus, Tihomir Ivanov got a quota to participate at the World Athletics Championships in Doha later this autumn. Ivet Lalova (200 meters sprint event) Radoslava Mavrodieva ( shot put), Gabriela Petrova (triple jump) and Mirela Demireva (High jump) already received quotas to participate at the World Athletics Championships in Doha.
