Ataka party is no longer part of the nationalist United Patriots, the junior partner to the ruling coalition in Bulgaria, the leaders of the other two United Patriots parties Valery Simeonov of the National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB), and Krasimir Karakachanov of VMRO announced.
Three of the seven Ataka MPs were expelled from the parliamentary group of the United Patriots – Ataka leader Volen Siderov, his deputy Desislav Chukolov and Pavel Shopov.
