Bulgaria has denied allegations published in German and British media, citing a journalistic investigation related to mistreatment of refugees in Bulgaria, Hungary and Greece. The article by Frontex - the EU's agency for external borders, claims that border guards in Bulgaria, Hungary and Greece have been abusing refugees trying to cross the border with Turkey. During his working visit to Bavaria Bulgarian Minister of Interior, Mladen Marinov, pointed out that Bulgaria respected all human rights. "Bulgarian border guards use force only when the situation demands it, such as in case of aggression against them," Minister Marinov said.
