“Tonight the almighty Metallica will perform in front of more than 70.000 people in Warsaw and I’m honoured to have been invited to create the official screen printed poster for the show.” This is what Bulgarian illustrator Dido Peshev wrote today in Facebook. The artist, who made a name with his works done for celebrities like Merilin Menson, Linkin Park, The Melvins and Napalm Death, published also an image of the poster, made especially for the Polish fans of James Hetfield and company! The Plovdiv-based Kapana Gallery hosts the exhibition “Open Art Files – notes below the line”. The exposition is organized within the frame of the platform for popularizing contemporary Bulgarian art of the Open Arts Foundation. A composition of dolls called “Life” won this year’s edition of the competition for hand-made souvenirs, taking place within the frame of the 23rd International Crafts Fair “Bulgarika” in Varna.
