Series of concerts dedicated to Bulgaria's diplomatic relations with leading European countries starts

The concert season for lovers of classical music in Bulgaria has begun and there are many surprises for the audience in the “Bulgaria” music hall in Sofia. A concert dedicated to the music of Russia, featuring works by Sergey Rachmaninov, Sergei Prokofiev and Mikhail Pletnev, has opened the series "Diplomacy and Music", dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and leading European countries. A real music feast will also be the upcoming concert on September 30, when the audience will enjoy performances of the Credo String Quartet virtuoso musicians, who will be playing works by Haydn and Piazzolla.

Traditionally, the concerts part of the cycle start at 7 pm and include a rich palette of performers such as the winner of the Grand Prix of the 7th Heirs of Orpheus International Competition 2019 - flutist Gergana Ivanova. In October the Sofia Quartet, Philharmonica String Quartet, violinist Natalia Todorova and pianist Vasil Nachev will also have concerts.
