Greece invites Bulgaria to participate in privatization of Alexandroupolis Port

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and Greece’s Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed the partnership between the two countries in the migration field. President Radev and Premier Mitsotakis called on the EU to support the protection of its external borders. Bulgaria and Greece are strategic partners and will continue to cooperate in the defense field, President Radev said.  Rumen Radev and Kyriakos Mitsotakis reached an agreement in principle that Bulgaria and Greece will cooperate in the defense of North Macedonia’s airspace. Bulgaria has the opportunity to participate in the future privatization of Alexandroupolis Port, Premier Mitsotaks said. Bulgaria’s President Radev is paying visit to Athens to attend the summit of the heads of state of the Arraiolos Group.
