Practically, this is real diversification, Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov announced during the inspection of the construction of the gas interconnector with Greece. The total length of the gas pipeline will be 182 kilometers and the interconnector will have the capacity to transfer up to 3 billion cubic meters of gas per year. Thanks to this project, Bulgaria and its neighbors will have access to alternative gas supplies from the Caspian region, as well as from existing and future LNG terminals.
