In Sofia, Serbia’s Minister of Innovation and Technological Development Nenad Popović has called on Bulgaria’s Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov that Bulgaria should review its stance of recognizing the state of Kosovo. The two met during the Third Session of the Joint Bulgarian-Serbian Economic Cooperation Committee. Popović specifically has insisted that Karanikolov should convey his message to all members of the Bulgarian government. Bulgaria is one of the countries that understands your situation because in the past we have also been also divided for political and other reasons, Karanikolov has responded, Tanjug reports. In 2008, Bulgaria recognized the independence of the youngest Balkan state.
