Sofia Airport welcomes its seven millionth passenger for 2019

The seven millionth passenger for this year has landed at Sofia Airport on an El Al flight from Tel Aviv. Her name is Vicky Almog who visits Bulgaria twice a year, because she has relatives in this country and loves the beautiful local nature and delicious food. The year 2019 has been the best year for Bulgaria's largest international airport for far. In November alone, 522,000 passengers flew from Sofia Airport and air traffic saw an increase of 7.25% as compared to 2018. 

A total of 22 airlines serving 57 destinations operate at Sofia Airport. Four new destinations have been launched in 2019 - to Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Marseilles and East Midland.
