Bulgaria's Bansko to host a Women's World Ski Cup

The cancelled women's downhill race in Val d'Isere (France) from the Alpine Skiing Women's World Cup will take place in Bansko on January 24th, the Bulgarian Ski Federation reports. Thus, in the Bulgarian resort there will be three starts of the speed disciplines for the ladies. The other two races of the program remain on schedule on January 25th (downhill) and January 26th (super-G slalom). 
The organizing committee in Bansko has announced that the spectators' stand will be open for all guests of the ski area for the opening event of the Women's World Cup on January 24th.
