Bulgaria's men's volleyball team defeats France in first Olympic qualification for Tokyo 2020

The Bulgarian men's national volleyball team scored a victory against France with 3-2 in their first match of the Olympic qualification in Berlin. For France, it was their first defeat after their victory over Serbia 3-0. The Serbian team beat the Netherlands earlier with the same result. With this success, Silvano Prandi's team is third in the group with a total of 2 points.
Bulgarian volleyball players will play with the Netherlands on Tuesday. In a 3-0 or 3-1 win, Bulgaria will collect five points and will be in the lead before the last games in the group. The first two teams of the two groups continue ahead in the qualification as only the winner of the tournament qualifies for Tokyo 2020.
