Bulgarian passport is ranked the 18th most attractive one in the world out of 107 positions. This is indicated by Henley & Partners' annual chart. The rating has been prepared according to the number of destinations to which the holders of the relevant passports have visa-free access. The top position is held by Japan as its citizens can visit 191 countries unobstructed. Holders of a Bulgarian passport can travel without visas to 171 countries. Bulgaria shares the 18th position with the United Arab Emirates.
