Former intelligence chief charged with leaking classified information

The Former Director of the State Intelligence Agency and current Consul General of Bulgaria in Munich, Dragomir Dimitrov, has been accused of leaking classified information. He has been released on bail of EUR 2,550. Dimitrov has been charged with a criminal mismanagement - unauthorized access to classified information which has benefited an unnamed company with the sum of EUR 91,500.

Dragomir Dimitrov was a key witness in the lawsuit against his predecessor at the State Intelligence Agency Kircho Kirov, who has a 15-year, still not final, conviction for embezzlement of over 2.5 million euros.
