Bulgaria wins 5 medals at Balkan Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul

Bulgaria earned 4 silver and 1 bronze medal at the Balkan Athletics Indoor Championships held in Istanbul. Milena Mitkova won silver at the long-jump event (6.42 meters). Mitko Tsenov placed second at the 1,500 meters event. He stopped the clock at 3:50:46 minutes. Tihomir Ivanov won silver at the high jump event and Stanislav Stankov earned silver at the Men’s 60 meters Hurdles (7.88 seconds). Yolo Nikolov won bronze medal at the Men’s 3,000 meters  after stopping the clock at 8:14:55 minutes. Bulgaria is 14th in the overall rankings.
