Fifteen illegal migrants were detained at Danube Bridge 2 border checkpoint as they were exiting from Bulgaria.

They were found in a secret compartment of a refrigerated truck travelling empty from Greece bound for Hungary. The persons arrested are from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Along with their national passports the authorities discovered in their luggage Greek asylum application papers. Telephones and documents belonging to the detainees were found in the driver’s cabin. The two drivers, Greek citizens, have also been detained and are being questioned.
