Bulgarians pay tribute to national hero Vasil Levski with "On the Path of Immortality" procession

On February 19, commemorative events continue across Bulgaria on the occasion of 147 years since the death of Bulgaria's Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski. A procession will be held in Sofia tonight where people will walk "the path of immortality." The route of the procession starts from the building of the presidency and ends in front of the monument to Levski in the heart of the capital city, a memorial erected near the place where the national hero of Bulgaria was hanged in the winter of 1873. President Rumen Radev will join the procession.

The organizer of the commemorative procession is the Vasil Levski All-Bulgarian Committee.
