The Bulgarian cabinet allocated over EUR 250,000 to finance projects of the Bulgarian communities in Albania, Serbia, Kosovo, Ukraine, Moldova and North Macedonia. The money goes to this year’s budget of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The cabinet resolution aims to help strengthen organizations and expand their activities towards preserving the Bulgarian identity among the Bulgarian community abroad, as well as to boost their public presence in these countries. The decision confirms Bulgaria’s consistent policy to guarantee the rights and the interests of the Bulgarian communities abroad in compliance with local legislation and international law.
