34 new points of sale of route maps will be launched at the Bulgarian border checkpoints to facilitate the drivers of cargo vehicles. They will start functioning together with the new toll system on March 1, 2020. On each border crossing drivers and tourists can receive assistance from people speaking the foreign language of the neighbouring country.

Self-service terminals in 7 languages-English, German, Serbian, Turkish, Russian, Romanian and Greek will be installed on the border checkpoints, as well. Drivers will be able to use mobile points of sale when traffic is intense.

Drivers of cargo vehicles in transit caught in violations will pay compensatory tax. If they refuse to do so, they will be issued a bill of indictment. If they refuse to pay it, their vehicle registration plates will be removed.
