The Bulgarian Parliament has been discussing urgent changes to the law on public order when conducting sporting events. The amendment is related to issuing of an act for the suitability of Bulgarian stadiums according to UEFA international criteria. Changes are needed to ensure that the Euro 2020 qualifier match between Bulgaria and Hungary is held on March 27. In order to receive stadium safety certificates, the seats for the public must be firmly fixed and made of special materials. The access to the stadiums for people with disabilities, the requirements for lighting, sound and video surveillance, as well as the coordination of emergency and service activities are also regulated.
