All indoor cultural events in Bulgaria are cancelled. The Bulgarian government took this decision after the National Operational Headquarters to coordinate measures for prevention and combating the coronavirus officially confirmed that 4 cases of COVID-19 were registered in this country. At the proposal of the National Operational Headquarters, all sports events will go behind closed doors. Premier Boyko Borissov called on the people not to panic. There is no need to buy extra food, because the large food retailers have food products for the next 30 days. We have taken and continue to take all necessary measures to deal with the situation, Premier Borissov added. The cabinet also decided to ban exports of face protection masks and protective clothing. The Bulgarian Ministry of Interior and the National Agency for State Security were ordered to use their capacity to prevent profiteering with such materials. By order of  the Bulgarian Ministry of Health, a special work regime will be introduced in the hospitals in Pleven and Gabrovo districts where the first four cases of coronavirus were registered in Bulgaria.
