The low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that from today until April 3, it suspends all its flights to Italy because of the coronavirus outbreak.  The flights from Sofia and Varna to the Italian airports in Milan and Bergamo will be completely halted.
As of Thursday, March 12, the airline will also suspend all flights to Tel Aviv and Eilat due to the introduction in Israel of a 14-day quarantine for all arriving passengers.
Wizz Air passengers with ticket bookings affected by this change will be diverted to an alternate route as early as possible. Those who have already purchased tickets are offered a free change of reservation for a new date or a full refund of the amount initially paid.
