Second death from coronavirus in Bulgaria

One more coronavirus patient died today – the 74-year old husband of the first victim of COVID-19, a 66-year old woman. Both had chronic medical conditions.

According to National Crisis Staff information, at this time the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria remain 31.

Inspections are being conducted nationwide to make sure the emergency measures against coronavirus are being observed. Law enforcement officials closed several catering establishments which remained opened last night despite the prohibition.

Four TIR truck drivers were detained and forcibly taken back to their homes in Slivnitsa, Western Bulgaria, for breaking their home quarantine.
