Bulgarian pharmaceutical companies are ready to produce quinine-based medicines. At a meeting with Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Health Minister Kiril Ananiev and the National Headquarters responsible for stopping Covid-19, it was decided to stop the export of quinine-based tablets produced for Ukraine and Russia.
The Bulgarian Drug Agency is expected to authorize the sale in Bulgarian pharmacies of 35,000 blisters currently available and ready for export, as well as production of new quantities.
