The Bulgarian National Assembly suspended its regular sittings over the coronavirus pandemic. The Bulgarian MPs will only gather to vote legislation connected with the state of emergency and urgent regulatory amendments. Only the left-wing Bulgarian Socialist Party reacted sharply against this decision. The other parties represented at the Bulgarian Parliament supported the decision.
