Reduction in price of natural gas by over 40% being discussed

The price of natural gas could go down by more than the 40% envisaged as of April, announced Nikolay Pavlov, CEO of the public service provider of natural gas in Bulgaria, Bulgargaz.

Due to the lower prices of gas, the price of heating is expected to go down, as of April, by 8-25% for the different towns in the country. Electricity prices will not change. The final decision will be made at the end of the month. The price changes are connected with the lower prices of natural gas negotiated with the Russian company Gazprom.
