Responding to a BNR inquiry, officials from the Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union said that the warnings made in interviews of the president of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union Asena Stoimenova about a possible shortage of drugs in a pandemic situation could not be considered as a "false alarm". The Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union was informed of the case by the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union. Stoimenova made these warnings in her interviews with the Bulgarian National Radio and the Bulgarian National Television.
