Bulgarian Yuliyana Valcheva signs with Division 1 University of Texas San Antonio

After two years of Scottsbluff,  Western Nebraska Community College’s Yuliyana Valcheva signed with the University of Texas San Antonio, to continue her basketball playing at the Division 1 level, wnccathletics.com announced. "I associate playing in a Division I school as a big challenge and responsiobility", Yuliana said. "It means that I need to be prepared in all possible ways that it won’t be easy and that I will need to work really hard, but I am ready for it", the Bulgarian basketball player further says. Last summer, Valcheva was part of the Bulgarian National Basketball under-20 Team which won the European U20 Championship Division B in Kosovo.
