Health Minister lifts ban on visiting parks

Bulgaria's Health Minister has authorized the visits to city parks and gardens for children up to 12 years old, accompanied by a parent or family member, but no more than two adults, in the time slot from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm

Owners of dogs will be able to take their pets for a walk before 9.30 am and after 6.30 pm. In the same hours, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova has also announced individual sports activities in the city parks will be allowed. 
Protective masks are required and a distance of 2.5 m should be observed. The movement in parks will take place along designated routes. Consumption of alcohol is prohibited. 
The ban on the use of playgrounds and sports facilities remains in force. Sitting on benches and lawns should be avoided.
